Current planning discussions for the Ghaziabad–Jewar RRTS corridor include a proposed station near Siddhartha Vihar, often referred to as Ghaziabad South. This station is expected to serve the NH-24 corridor and nearby residential areas, including Siddhartha Vihar. However, the exact station name and final location will be confirmed only after the project receives final approvals and detailed engineering plans are finalized.
The proposed station is expected to be located near the Delhi–Meerut Expressway (NH-24) close to the Siddhartha Vihar area. This location would allow the station to serve multiple surrounding neighbourhoods including: Siddhartha Vihar Indirapuram extension areas Pratap Vihar parts of Crossings Republik. The final alignment will be confirmed during the detailed design stage of the project.
If the planned alignment remains unchanged, the distance between Siddhartha Vihar and Noida International Airport (Jewar) via the RRTS corridor would be roughly 65–70 kilometres. Rapid rail trains operating at high speeds could potentially reduce the travel time to about one hour or slightly more, depending on service patterns and stops.
The Ghaziabad end of the corridor is expected to integrate with the Delhi–Meerut RRTS line, which connects to Delhi’s regional transit network. Through this integration, residents of Siddhartha Vihar could gain improved connectivity not only to Jewar Airport, but also to Delhi and other parts of NCR via the expanding RRTS system.
Improved regional connectivity often plays an important role in shaping urban growth patterns. If the Siddhartha Vihar station is implemented as planned, it could: strengthen connectivity between Ghaziabad and the airport corridor improve accessibility for working professionals commuting across NCR increase the attractiveness of Siddhartha Vihar as a residential location. However, the real estate impact will depend on actual project execution and broader market conditions.
Construction of the Ghaziabad–Jewar RRTS corridor has not yet started. If the project receives final approvals and construction begins in the 2026–2027 timeframe, the corridor — including the Siddhartha Vihar station — could potentially become operational around 2030, depending on construction progress.
Siddhartha Vihar sits at a strategic junction of major infrastructure corridors, including: Delhi–Meerut Expressway (NH-24) proximity to Indirapuram and Noida emerging high-rise residential developments in Ghaziabad. Because of this location, a rapid rail station here could serve as an important gateway connecting Ghaziabad with Greater Noida and the Yamuna Expressway economic corridor.
